Shared messaging

Messaging and your privacy

Messages help you coordinate events, venues, bookings, tickets, and support. We keep the explanation here plain so the shared inbox does not feel like a hidden policy surface.

  • What we collect: Message text, image attachments, delivery state, reports, and the linked context needed to explain a thread.
  • Why we use it: To deliver replies, support disputes, investigate abuse, and keep shared inbox threads understandable across products.
  • Who can access messages: Participants and authorised reviewers only when policy requires it.
  • Retention: Ordinary inactive conversations may be archived and later deleted or anonymised. Reported or legally required records can stay longer.

Archive changes product thread state. Hide from view removes a conversation from only your main shared inbox queue. Privacy deletion is a separate request path and may stay subject to retention rules.

Settings help

Messaging controls

These controls stay deliberately separate so it is clearer what each one changes.

Read receipts

Choose whether participants can see when you have read a message.

Message previews

Control whether previews appear in shared inbox lists and other supported shared inbox views.

Archive or request deletion

Archiving hides a thread from the main inbox. A privacy deletion request may need review and does not guarantee immediate erasure.
